The best screenshot of the whole year of 2011 is.............September's screenshot by dummiesboy! Congratulations pal, you deserved the win. Excellent shot!

The 2nd place winner is May screenshot by Franch88 and the 3rd place winner is December screenshot by kunal2045! Congratulations to you guys as well and great work to all who even made it into the SOTY contest.

To determine the appropriate winners, I counted the first choices as 3 votes, second choices as 2 votes and third choices as 1 vote. I used MS Excel to do final tally:

Haha wow, thanks for the votes guys!

I'm honestly surprised that I won, there were plenty of great shots this time around. Nice job coming in 2nd place Franch, really close.

Of course we should continue this next year! Its alot of fun, and a great way to keep the community active.

congrats , and yes of course continue it , and for suggestions as i said before , choosing a theme before the start of each month would be better and more fair i think

Very good work with all the organizing of this contest and with its voting, Silent1Unknown, it must continue for next year since it has a great success.

A notice: Silent1Unknown, in the Excel table there aren't the last votes by Kunal. You haven't noticed it, right? With it, October's screenshot gets 5 votes total, August's screenshot gets 5 votes total (in August month there was a tie between Hastantyo and Agustin, but only Hastantyo has got votes in this SOTY contest) and May's one gets 16 votes total (only two votes more for me to win). However, with or without the Kunal's votes the final result of the first three doesn't change.

Ok, if we do themes from now on.....how do we decide the themes for each month....and then what are some example themes?

@ Franch: should we continue in this topic or start a fresh new one for 2012?
