3DRipperDX question

Postby CarLuver69 » Sun Jan 02, 2011 3:05 am

Since emulators have support for Direct3D, doesn't this mean we could rip PS1 models? I tried this with ePSXe but each time I try to run the game the screen is frozen with the very first frame... :(

I'm using Pete's D3D Driver 1.77...any ideas?

Well on some emulator forums (you could actually find one and ask) some sequesters talk about modding, and some reply with basically yes, you can.

But I would think you would have to go through the game files.

Well I already have some textures ripped for the game, I guess I just need to start practicing on my modeling!

Since 3D Ripper DX supports only DirectX6, 8 and 9, use Pete`s DX9 plugin. It works, but captures in 2D, so you will need to scracth up the models.
