Tuner's Choice

Postby T-800 » Wed Sep 08, 2010 8:19 pm

following up to my successful (but dying) Manufacturer's choice

This topic is about what car would you have and how would you tune it?

Happy posting, T-800 8)

I thought you meant engine tuning *vomit* the tuning you're talking about is gross to look at and no performance edge is achieved.

Well I am a performance tuner part-time. So let's take the new camaro ss: to that I would add a Hennessy supercharger, larger cams, flowmaster exhaust, Edelbrock headers K&N filters, Budnik wheels and BF goodrich tires. That's a cheap and valuable tune up.

I would take a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 and put V10 Supercharged engine and put NOS(Nitrous Oxide System) and adjust the suspension system. I would even put racing decals and neon. I would do more stuff like putting speakers in the trunk and light up the trunk, putting hydraulics and a advanced navigation system. :)

I don't think this topic will be popular than the manufactures choice.

don't worry it will, if its predecessor was successful, so will this, yes it won't catch up but will still be popular

Hopefully it will get popular. Still dont abandon the Manufacture's choice topic. We can still go on with that.

putting hydraulics
Nissan Skyline R34 with hydraulics ? joking right ? hydraulics don't look good on imports not including some Civic cars

and NOS why would you need that ? i mean even RJ de vera said that it is even for him too dangerous to be used and he is a legend :) , maybe you could use nitro only to make a little spectacle in a car show :D

anyway as many of you knows i have a tuning company/(whatever you call it :) ) so i made some changes to my R34 recently

i tinted the windows darker black , streetglow blue neons for outside xenon vlue neons for inside , OZ chromed rims and a new hood .
the tuning of engine and other things like that were already been tuned when i bought it so i'll see about tuning the performances after driving it a little bit :) cuz till now i've been able only to drive it at test tracks :S

P.S. i saw at one car site that they have like schools for drifting , not like real schools but you now a guy/girl teaches you how to drift like privet lessons with payment :) damn i'am going to go there :D

anyway i would love to customize a Hummer :)

NOS is great for import/tuner cars. What were you thinking? NOS on a muscle car? That would be ridiculous. I think you are right about the hydraulics. Thats good for muscle cars. By the way, what do you mean you did something to a R34? You own 1?

no NOS at all too dangerous for amateurs + hydraulics in american muscle do you even imagine a mustang or camaro bouncing ? no way the hydraulics are only for low riders

and yes i own one here it is a pic taken before the modifications

normally, i don't know much about cars in terms of specs but i know that designing the car on the outside like neon's, bling, etc... is just as good as tuning the car on the outside.

Sounds like a childs dream. :P

It's already been more popular anyway. :P

For me- bodykit, exhaust, brakes, headlights, rear, etc, and that's all. A engine would be okay with some addons.
