MM2 Ultimate Tweaker error

every time i want to edit an car in mm2 Ultimate Tweaker, and i want to save it, it does say: cannot save mechanical tuning in the .ar archive. what do i do wrong???????? please help!!!!

What car .ar file you're attempting to edit? If you're trying to edit the default cars tuning it's not possible; as far as I rememebr it isn't neither able to open the 4 defautl game .ar files. It can edit most of the add-on cars. ar files, and usually without get saving problems, but some not, because originally made with WinZip, giving the message that there's no PKG in it.

Heres the problem: I download a car, just For example an aston martin db9. I open it with WINrar, and put the car's . Ar file into the MM2 directory. Than i open mm2ut, and select the !!!!exampleastonmartindb9.ar. Than i add horsepower and gears etc, click save abd it says: file cannot be saved in the .ar archive. Than it also deletes the car immeadiatly. I also tried mm2 tastix car editor, but that just wont work at all. If you have questions, ill answer as soon as possible

So pratically this problem happens with any add-on car downloaded that the program is able to open, but then it's not able to save the changes done? That's not normal. Have you extracted all the MM2 Ultimate Tweaker files from its archive to a new folder? It must be done for its proper use. Don't know what else think.
The Tastix MM2 Car Editor isn't good, and it should be better only with the default game cars.

Are you oppening MM2 or the *ar file with Winrar when you try to edit with UT ?
