I finally got the sounds in MM2 working again (by reinstalling twice!).

Now, when I go to record MM2 videos with Fraps I have a problem with recording the sounds.

There are two options for recording sounds using Fraps:

1) Detect best sound input
2) Use Windows input

When I use option 1, game always crashes. When I use option 2, video is recorded but without any sound.

I also tried playing around with the audio options in MM2, using different audio devices each time. Still nothing.

Any help?

It's an annoying problem this. Maybe it's more related with the audio card drivers and the game, but you should try to record video and audio with Fraps using some other game to see it happens the same thing: if not, it's because of MM2 probably. Also, get the most updated version of Fraps from the official website here, but it's not a freeware, it has some limitations.
