I am making a new program for mm2files, zac has seen pics and has many suggestions, if any converters are interested in having their cars just tell me

can you explain it more i am not sure if i understand it. What does it do this "program" and what do you mean if any converters are interested in having their cars ??

Triple, i mean you can type your mm2 folder, and click a button opening a window showing many addons, its copyright so i have to ask converters if interest

It's a program that you open and lists all new mods and conversions, it has options like 'download' and 'readme'. I'm not interested in such things, but I offered to help with ideas and icon making. It's kinda a good idea, but I would rather just download it the old way. But it's bad to maintain, I don't know how it will update, but after a while it will be gone. I offered to say that some mod makers would not like to have their mods on this, so it's better to ask.

Its not the same as gameloader, you see when its done (workable version out)

Note:

When entering Custom MM2 Folder it must have mm2\ not just mm2 , many people who got beta got that

Great program. Seems the AR file names change in the process. Program is kinda freezy and some things wrong, but seems good.

At MMArchive there's a similar program, and I don't like that idea, it's indeed against the copyright of the author, because through it you don't get the archive like released by the author. Of course there's no problem for who accepts. Anyway, such kind of downloading programs fail, it's a waste of time make and use them, is way better the old way to download new files in websites like this in their original conditions...
I've tried yours, good try, but absolutely not worth. At least it shows the Readme file content and keeps the original .ar file name, but what about the absolutely needed addon_vehtypes.ar file for the Riva's Lamborghini Reventon Interceptor? That's now downloaded with the car... And the other things included with it? Another reason why such programs fail in the MM2 contest...

Franch, when you click readme the addon_vehtypes.ar is there to get also the other mods will be added

i haven't tried the program but i don't like the idea of this program and yeah i agree with Franch it's against the copyrights of the author , in my Readme files it says that you can't host it without this Readme file and you can't make any additional edits in the ar or rar archive and i am not the only one who has this writes many authors has them too so if you only add some of them it is stupid cuz the people will get back to the old method cuz they maybe are looking for example one of my cars but they don;t know who is the author but they are searching for a specific car and they don;t find it in your app but when they get to the site they find so the first thing they're going to do is deleting the program i am sure for this . But anyways nice yo see someone working on app and i think it would be better if you would try something new like an animation creator something that isn't made for mm2

Triple , Riva, Zac, and Carking agreed to this. (the way i do it) I ALWAYS get permission first (Always doesnt mean yelling in caps, it means a bit louder)

Yeah, now I've noticed that, but it's visible only to who reads the Readme file content clicking on the apposite button, for who don't do that is a problem.
However better abandon this idea, nodoby will use it, websites are the best and only solution to check to get add-ons, especially the new released ones. In websites like this you get the file as released by the author, there are info with a screenshot and notifications.
