This my problem:
i used zmodeler very very well some weeks ago to convert cars
now when i want to detach the lights to make good tailghts (80 polyes) the zmodeler semi frezees and use 248 to 324 mb to detach in 1 hour with 25 mins, zmodeler used 110mb to detach 100 - 150 polyes from audi in 2 minutes without freeze why that happen?

Of course thanks

Don't worry- I have this problem on my gaming computers also. The thing is that it has to process all the polygons and detach them.

Is normal that ZModeler takes so much time to detach the selected polygons from a model, and more detailed and high polygons this model is, more time it takes using more system RAM memory.
However, to detach the tail lights of a car model to make them as car tail light object is just needed detach a copy of the selected polygons (keeping pressing the Shift button); this operation takes way less time than a normal polygons detaching. Is suggested to detach the polygons from a model let having it less polygons possible, and to do this, is good detach the model per materials for first. Alternatives can be found.
