Thanks Franch. :)

Well yea, I agree with you. But, the whole side have reflections btw. Just caused the "flat" shape on the side of the bus, the reflection wasn't too visible. Another case is because the dark area on the background scene, doesn't have much details "things" which will be reflected on the Bus. The road, grass, trees, they won't reflected as it should be. :( 3Ds Max 2010 doens't have "Brightness and Contrast" tools on Mental Ray HDRI features. So, the background scene a little bit darker after rendered. :(

Anyway, I've made some new renders. Hope you like it. :)

The problem isn't really the flat shape of the bus, or at least, isn't so if the material has reflections properties set (to be generated when you do the rendering), but it's so if you're using a reflection/ambient map (like is with the reflections in MM2 game, for example). Another simple reason is the white color, too light to let show the reflection, unlike the dark color of the windows. Another more reason is the use of the photo background, that not being a 3D scene probably doesn't let the program generate realistic reflections.
From the renderings they're clearly generated reflections, and they look great, anyway. Great work. :)

I've found new settings for animation rendering. Rendering process becomes much sorter, of course by decreasing the quality too. Here is the comparison.

The first one I've posted above. 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution for animation rendering, the quality set to the maximum value. Arch&Design material shaders. Manual settings on the lightning by using Mr Area Spot and Skylight (AO). Rendering time takes almost 62 hours.
Image

The second one. Same models, same scene, same material shaders. This one just use 1024 x 576 pixel resolution, quality set to custom (decreased but still gives good quality). Lightning by using Mental Ray Daylight System (Automatic). Rendering time takes almost 6 Hours.

Which one is better? :)

And I've also animated my Bus model on that scene, just testing. This one takes 6 hours of rendering time, same as above. :)

2nd truck one is the most realisitic. :)

Yes, second picture of truck looks more realistic because of the shadows and first one is having a purplish glow. The trailer tanks look a bit odd like they lack perspective.

Great renders as always. :) I prefer the second trucks render because of the more natural and photorealistic colors, despite the first one has an overall better detailing quality. Very nice the buses render.

What? Those are renders made with a 3D scenes and animations making and rendering software, the graphic card doesn't count, it's all software work... At least, it can only help in accelerating the rendering time, but it has to be a supported workstation model, like Nvidia Quadro and AMD FirePro series, and they cost a lot. A powerful multicore CPU counts too.
