I've been wondering. How do you increase in rank? Is it the ammount of posts, like in MM2C, or does the admin decide?

In this forum are used these ranks: 6 stars for MM2X Owner rank, 5 stars for MM2X Admin rank, 5 stars for MM2X Staff Member, 4 stars for Moderator and 4 stars for MM2X VIP Member. There also the 3 and 2 stars pictures to make other ranks, but they aren't used. Members have only 1 star.
There's no setting to change the rank that's based on the number of posts or on the registration date. The MM2X VIP Member can be assigned only by the administrator.
At MM2C forum there's the Senior Member rank, but probably that's decided by the admins. Seems that there's no automatic rank setted there, too. Only the possibility to set a custom title is enabled after have posted 20 posts.
