MRT's Traffic Mod 1.0 [WiP]

Since nobody visits our forums, I thought to bring the news here.

Madness Revived Team (MRT) has been working on a traffic mod. Here is the current progress:

Most of them have only been modeled, but they will be textured soon. The white bus will go in London, blue to SF and black to both. There is good chance the Caravan and Fiat 500 will be remade for improvements.

Currently looking for an SUV or two, a supercar or exotic and perhaps a common utility vehicle. We have 6 (or 7, if the G35 is saved for the next mod) open spots left. Tentatively, they are filled in by the following vehicles:

08 Acura TL
08 Dodge Avenger
08 GMC Envoy
09 Dodge Caravan
Carrier truck
Big rig truck

If you have better suggestions, make the request.

Great work with the mod making Silent1Unknown, sincerely only you are working with it in the team for now.

Very nice low polygons models.
I don't see a police mod necessary, also because of the mod name, that's only about the traffic. If you'll make it is better for both the cities, because this mod will change the traffic in both the cities.

Seems to be a great Traffic mod, keep it up!
I voted for London only because I already use a cop mod for SF (Chevy Impala cops by HQTM Team), and new cops for London are welcome.

PS: I think you should make the windows of the vehicles blue for the day and black for the night

How about pick up trucks? Like an F150 or Silverado. Also, for SUV's you could put Chevy Tahoes or Ford Rangers in SF and Range Rovers in London

If I make cops, what models should they be?

For the trucks, I was hoping I can make them interesting by shaping their bounds. The carrier truck will be open at the back so that cars can get in and stuck inside. Maybe a similar thing for the big rig truck, but I also want to keep the trailer part high so that players can drive underneath it (like in FnF movies).

Great work with the mod making Silent1Unknown, sincerely only you are working with it in the team for now.

Once I get them textured, I'll distribute the rest of the work to the other team members. Maybe you can add the HEADLIGHT, RLIGHT and SLIGHT objects.

P.S. I like the night texture idea, but I dont think blue will look good in daylight. Perhaps there can be another application for night textures.

That's what I was about to say lol. Those would be good for SF, but if you're going to change London cops, I think they have volvo station wagons and opel Astras

Seriously, there are too many crown vics out there, its been overdone. Dodge Chargers would be nice...but I'm thinking of saving it for later. Opel Astra might also be a good candidate.

Please give me more suggestions. I crave them.

Will mm2 allow for bounds more then just a box/rectangle for the traffic cars? I know it can for pkg objects, but it seemed that for player cars it is picky and it just might be the same for traffic cars.

The Crossfire looks nice, pretty good for low poly.

I wanted to make a (normal 10k-poly) 2008 Fusion, but I did not have time. It was also included in this traffic mod, but got cut. Maybe it could replace one the older cars. Hmmm...

I dont find the new Impala interesting, but maybe you meant the Malibu, because I like that one.

Keep the suggestions coming.

EDIT: Me and Brian just came up with an awesome idea for the London cop. Its going to be very....well, we'll just keep this one a secret/surprise.
