Paris Project

Postby Alex27 » Wed Jul 15, 2009 8:37 pm

Hi. Here's some screenshots of my Eiffel tower in ZModeler. It's my first building/house/city object. It's not finished. Hope you'll like it.

And by the way, thanks a lot Franch88 because without your help, I would not be able to post pictures.

Very nice work, very good for a low polygons model. :) Good luck with this project, because it's going to take a lot of time.

Thanks for comments. And for Silent's question, of course you can. Here's a 3d picture of the tower with alpha channel disabled, and wireframe enabled so you can clearly see it:

And if you find some front view pictures of Paris houses/streets, can you please post it? Thanks again for these good comments.

If you need some pictures of houses, and buildings, just go to Google Maps, and look in the street views of Paris. The images are very high quality. You could take screen shots of them. I'm not sure if the end result would be good, but it's worth a shot. ;)

Thanks so much for your great comments, and Dummiesboy for your advice. I'll look at Google Maps.

The map will be this size, if all goes well. Here's a picture. It's the MM3 Paris map, but it's not going to be my city's map.

Good luck with this project, not a bad idea to make the same roads than the MM3 version.
