I'm working on releasing the Knight Rider 2009 in normal mode, but the model i've used as a base for it is from lzr_sl2007 but he doesn't reply to my question via email/pm whether I can use his car if I give credit to him.
So my question is if I can release it or can't I because I haven't got the permission of the author?

Don't worry Technologyfreak, LZR_SL isn't the model author, that model comes from a NFS game series, made by EA Games, so no author permission asking troubles, go ahead with the releasing, we're waiting long time for your car release with your great edits.
You can well do credits to LZR_SL for the base model, and specify that it comes from a NFS game (maybe NFS Carbon, check his release Readme file). Probably he'll post his opinion here soon.

Something I might have forgotten to tell everyone here, the damages regenerate, so like the real KITT it wil be very differcult to break it

The car conversion is really nice, very good edits to the model, also if I've found some little difference, like the front bumper grill, a bit different in the real car. Nice lights and red lights animation. Very good your dashboard edits. Nice sounds and tuning, pretty arcade like. The damages are simple, and there's a little regeneration, as you say.
