Yep, there's about ~50 files there. I've started on those, did 5 - went out and now I'm on it again - only 45 more!, at the moment there are 33 files in the main database. And they're only test files & my stuff. I expect there's LONG way to go yet.

I hope so, and it's such a big project, I just had to get help. In the form of "cheat codez" :P I coded a small app to do most of the work for me, seeing as it's so tediously repetitive. I just give it a URL, and it'll pull all the vehicle/mod/whatever info I need, all I have to do is dump the files in the folder for the application to hash & feed it with URLs. ;)

And the funny thing is, I only just made the big jump from VB6 to VB.NET the night I started this project & I'm coping & learning suprisingly well.

I was working on my own little batch renamer program for vehicle basenames, but if you have already made your own or are planning to make your own then I guess I won't finish mine. Mine would make all of the files and name it whatever the user wanted it named.

Haha, wow. I planned the same. At the moment I use Advanced Renamer, freeware from https://aren.hulubulu.net/, it's very good. But if you want to make one, by all means go ahead. I have a lot more work to do yet. If you do, what language do you plan to code it in? And I'd be willing to offer a hand if you need it.
