Lol, I fixed that sailboat thing awhile ago. I seem to remember leaving it as an easter egg while the seagulls were still in beta stages.

Well naturally, I released another large mod that has a few oversights. They're minor though, fixable within a day. When I get home, I'll patch some things up and post what I did. Somehow I thought there would be a 5.1... :P
There also might be some hope in getting Instant Replay working properly, through a pause menu button. Yesterday I discovered some very interesting things MM2 leaves in RAM, related to the menus. However, me and Aaro could really use some help from anyone with experience with reverse engineering. It's literally just a matter of finding the location of the pause menu in the exe...

Yes, we have found traces of the Resume box, but it was a global white rectangle that didnty point me anywhere closer :( . Ive been hard at work for the past day trying to even save via ram. but no luck.

Well yesterday I added a missing rain texture for a road, and added Carluver69's tweaked showroom reflection (which I also forgot to put in RV5). He also tweaked sf.psdl yesterday, fixing some LOD texture issues for roads in the Presidio (near the Golden Gate Bridge), and fixed a messed up intersection that connects to a driveway near some houses beside Ghiradelli's. I plan to give roofs their own night textures, improve how rain particles look, and tweak the fog for some weather conditions. If replay is finished by the time 5.1 gets released, then I'll also include it. If not, then I'll release a 5.2 patch exclusivly for it.. if it's even possible to do.

Is it also possible to include the thunder sound for rainy morning, afternoon, and evening weather conditions?

Sounds good, this mod has to be still in evolution and in improving. You talked me about those reflections tweaked by CarLuver69, bad have forgot to include them. Good luck with the instant replay researching, the thing is very hard in any aspect.
I suggest to use other unused props, the harder part is see where place them. For example, for SF Chinatown there are unused shops tends and bakery signboards.

Great news, Someone972 managed to find some addresses related to the in game pause menu! A proper Instant Replay mode might be just around the corner...

This is annoying to find. It may not be around the corner :P

I'm pretty sure every single one of you expected a delay like this. :P

I've been dedicating my time to MM1 Revisited for the past few months. But now, I'm beginning to mod MM2 again. If any of you have ever heard of the MM2 Revival project on MM2BR, well, I'm attempting to get the author to help in getting Instant Replay fully functional. He seems to have alot of knowlage when it comes to modding MM2's exe, so there could be hope. In reality, 5.1 is so little right now that it needs something like this to be worth releasing.

I wonder if the Cadillac Eldorado was meant to be fragile cuz it seems to break down easily.

There are alot of things about MM2 physics that suck. But I can't touch them without affecting multiplayer.

I might make an optional addon that makes the physics of some cars less horrid. Like being able to reach 200 mph in the gtr-1 without hopping into orbit first
