It's possible to convert MM1 chicago to MM2
why nobody try to CONVERT IT ????

its been tried and many questions are like this but sadly no its impossable unless you make it from scrach

It's impossible convert the MM1 Chicago city, because the MM1 structure is different than MM2 and there are many other issues. This has been discussed ages ago.
It's very hard doing the contrary, especially with the PSDL cities; about the cars it could be more easy.

That's only an MM1 game feature as far as I remember. In MM2 it could be reproduced using animated textures applied in the copy of the ground object, but this is better for new little maps.

For people from MM2C that understand how to create tracks for MM2: Why not create a new Chicago for MM2? Not convert but create a new city like the original using the same textures. I think that is a nice idea.

I'm not a good maker, but maybe MM2C have people who have time to work on this and they are good makers.

Great idea Toyz (I saw ur post from MM2c). Stinger and HummerR rocks with the MM2 map stuffs like the road making and the Cop/Pedestrians/Trafic management.

I'm ready to model objects if need be.

It's a very big project, but with the cooperation of many people this could be done more easily.

i saw on www.coolcar.fr.st a project of Paris , but the author has abort the project !! maybe a Washington with Chevy impala cop ?

There's an old bad Paris city made for MM2, an it's nearly hard to find.
