With "blue screen" do you mean the view of the sky with only the car? Is better that you lets show a screenshot. Maybe it could be a thing similar to
this image.
This could be a graphic problem, like your previous one: a too new version of graphic card driver could make displaying problems to the old game. Try to search an old version of it...
A thing like this happens often when you play any add-on track after played the default MM2 ones, SF and London, but also the car is hidden besides the track. To solve this just exit from the game and then run it again.
