No, I hadn't any experience with them. I know that they are pretty delicate and need a lot of maintenance: you have to pay a lot of attention during its installation in your new system and you have to control the cooling liquid level periodically. Thanks Franch. Have you ever had any experience with watercooling?
Anyway, if you plan to overclock the CPU so much, is suggested a watercooling system, also if a very good air fan system with a very good thermal paste would be ok too.

Alright well recently I got some more stuff...currently no pictures.
Case: NZXT Tempest
Power Supply: Corsair TX750W
Motherboard: ASUS P5GL Pro
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 3.2GHz.
RAM: 4GB Mushkin Enhanced 1066MHz
HDD: WD 320GB, Seagate 250GB
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD4890
Monitor: 23" Full HD Acer X233H
I am hoping that the power supply can be used in future systems. Also, it was only $10 more then other 650W and 550W power supplys so I couldn't have saved much money going with a small one.
I am trying to overclock the RAM. I bought new RAM because my old could not handle speeds higher then 950MHz, and I figure this RAM can go a bit higher then 1066MHz.
So far the $195 I spent on the ATI has been the best I have ever spent on a video card, it has handle all the games I have tried with it at 30FPS on max settings with 4X AA (not Crysis) at 1920x1080, and minimal or no stuttering while recording.
A bit odd that I get around 16-20 fps at 1650x1080 on Crysis at very high (Triple C pack 2.21 installed). That isn't really any better then what I got with my 9800GTX.
The case is pretty quiet for having 6 case fans and, of course, the ATI has the loudest fan (50% is all I can tolerate), so I will most likely get a better cooler for it.

Very nice new system HummersRock.
The case model isn't bad, it has nice blue lights but maybe its design is too simple. Very good choice for the CPU, the Intel Core i7 920 is the best model so far, but the price is still a bit too high. Are the RAM memory DDR3? Probably yes. The hard discs choice is a bit weird, but if you want such sizes; I see as a better solution a RAID 0 of two hard discs of the same model or have a 10000 RPM hard disc as primary disc where install the OS and a 7200 RPM hard disc with high capacity for data. Great choice for the video card, actually the best single GPU video card by ATI. I have a Radeon HD4870, and that model is a kind of improved version of this one. Very nice monitor for sizes and resolutions.

A 750W PSU of course can be used for future systems. Remember that really a 550W PSU is enough for a powerful system like your new one, or also better.I am hoping that the power supply can be used in future systems. Also, it was only $10 more then other 650W and 550W power supplys so I couldn't have saved much money going with a small one.
I don't know if you can reach 1333 MHz of working frequency, but you have to care more about the latencies. For 1066 MHz DDR3 RAM memory the best lantency values are 5-5-5-15, but the memory has to be high quality to support overclocks. As far as I know Mushkin RAM memories have a very good quality, like GEIL and OCZ.I am trying to overclock the RAM. I bought new RAM because my old could not handle speeds higher then 950MHz, and I figure this RAM can go a bit higher then 1066MHz.
It's a good price, here it costs about 200 euro, but also less. Which brand is yours? The Radeon HD4890 Toxic by Sapphire has a very good heat dissipation system, the vapor chamber. There's also the overclocked version, the Atomic, but the price is a bit too high.So far the $195 I spent on the ATI has been the best I have ever spent on a video card, it has handle all the games I have tried with it at 30FPS on max settings with 4X AA (not Crysis) at 1920x1080, and minimal or no stuttering while recording.
I guess that's also using the API DirectX 10.0. The FPS number is pretty normal with this video card at that screen resolution. Setting high quality the result is better.A bit odd that I get around 16-20 fps at 1650x1080 on Crysis at very high (Triple C pack 2.21 installed). That isn't really any better then what I got with my 9800GTX.
Normally the case fans aren't so noisy, because their rotation is pretty slow. The reference board standard dissipator of the ATI Radeon HD4890, the same of the ATI Radeon HD4870, is noisy at about 40% of rotation speed, setting it manually from the graphic card drivers. Automatically it stays at 23% of rotation speed. The case is pretty quiet for having 6 case fans and, of course, the ATI has the loudest fan (50% is all I can tolerate), so I will most likely get a better cooler for it.

I think it is cool, but the only other cases I have had before were small mid towers with no fans, very few fan mounts (80MM mounts), etc. All cheap ones which I got for free. So it is nice to have one that has plenty of room, plenty of fans, etc. The side fan doesn't move as much air as I would like, but the two front ones are good and the two top 140MM fans do a good job too. I have been thinking of changing an exhaust fan to be an intake fan since one of the front intake fans is cooling my HDDs and there are lots of cords from the power supply in the case after my HDDs.The case model isn't bad, it has nice blue lights but maybe its design is too simple.
Well I already had the 250GB and needed more space, so I bought the WD awhile ago. I only had so much money. The hard discs choice is a bit weird, but if you want such sizes; I see as a better solution a RAID 0 of two hard discs of the same model or have a 10000 RPM hard disc as primary disc where install the OS and a 7200 RPM hard disc with high capacity for data.
It is DDR2 RAM. I was told before that latencies are more important, I'm just not sure how important...some people have told me they are very important, and low latencies are a lot better then higher speed. I think I will just try latencies that different RAM speeds usually have, 5-5-5-15 for 1066MHz, 6-6-6-20 for higher, etc.I don't know if you can reach 1333 MHz of working frequency, but you have to care more about the latencies. Mine is XFX.It's a good price, here it costs about 200 euro, but also less. Which brand is yours? The Radeon HD4890 Toxic by Sapphire has a very good heat dissipation system, the vapor chamber. There's also the overclocked version, the Atomic, but the price is a bit too high.
I'm still using XP. I was expecting better since it is pretty much the same performance that I got with my nVidia, I guess the developers didn't care to make it run good with ATI cards.I guess that's also using the API DirectX 10.0. The FPS number is pretty normal with this video card at that screen resolution. Setting high quality the result is better.
It's amazing how loud it is at 100%. It just might be louder then my vacuum cleaner! The reference board standard dissipator of the ATI Radeon HD4890, the same of the ATI Radeon HD4870, is noisy at about 40% of rotation speed, setting it manually from the graphic card drivers. Automatically it stays at 23% of rotation speed.

Well, if it's your first quality modern case with many fans and also lights it's very cool as first one.I think it is cool, but the only other cases I have had before were small mid towers with no fans, very few fan mounts (80MM mounts), etc. All cheap ones which I got for free. So it is nice to have one that has plenty of room, plenty of fans, etc. The side fan doesn't move as much air as I would like, but the two front ones are good and the two top 140MM fans do a good job too. So you've taken the HDD of your old PC and have added it with the one of your new system. If it's so is ok.Well I already had the 250GB and needed more space, so I bought the WD awhile ago. I only had so much money.
DDR2 type of RAM is ok with an Intel Core 2 Quad processor, the DDR3 triple channel RAM memories are for the Intel Core i7 systems. It is DDR2 RAM. I was told before that latencies are more important, I'm just not sure how important...some people have told me they are very important, and low latencies are a lot better then higher speed. I think I will just try latencies that different RAM speeds usually have, 5-5-5-15 for 1066MHz, 6-6-6-20 for higher, etc.
Right today I've seen a try of three different kind of DDR3 memories to test their performances in an AMD AM3 system, and the results were so similar; very little performance differences between 4GB 1600 DDR3 RAM memory with 8-8-8-24 2T of timings values and 4GB 1066 DDR3 RAM memory with 7-7-7-20 1T of timings values. But, this is mainly because of the AMD AM3 platform; in an Intel CPU system with an Intel or Nvidia chipset is also possible to mount 2000 MHz of DDR3 RAM memory.
BTW, don't forget that with the increase of the RAM working frequency, also the timings values increase. If you want to lower them a bit keeping the same frequency you should increase their voltage (not possible with Intel Core i7 memory controller, limit of 1.65 V) and maybe lower the bus frequency.
I don't see Windows XP the OS good for new systems, better Windows Vista or wait for Windows 7. I think that you have the 64bit version since you have 4 GB of RAM memory, otherwise with a 32bit the OS recognize and uses only about 3 GB.I'm still using XP. I was expecting better since it is pretty much the same performance that I got with my nVidia, I guess the developers didn't care to make it run good with ATI cards.
Maybe with Windows Vista you get better performances with Crysis. I know that Crysis goes better with Nvidia graphic cards, but the problem is also of the ATI graphic card drivers, worse than the Nvidia ones, and seems that the ATI graphic card performances depends a lot from their drivers.
Yeah, I know, it's a so noisy, but a such speed is useless to keep low the GPU and VRAM temperatures; 35-40% is enough. With 40% or fan speed the GPU temperature changes to about 60It's amazing how loud it is at 100%. it just might be louder then my vacuum cleaner!

I have the 32bit version of XP, I haven't heard one good thing about the 64bit version. I am going to wait until Windows 7 and hope that it is better than Vista about RAM and CPU usage (also processes).
I have tried to overclock the RAM some, and although I didn't mess around with the timings a whole lot, it was too unstable at 1200MHz, and seemed like it was a little unstable at 1131MHz. So overclocking seems impossible, but I guess that won't really matter.
I still need to do some more things to ensure that everything I got is running fine without errors. And I have had some problem with my monitor: when hooked up via HDMI cable and a DVI->HDMI adapter, the screen isn't on the screen perfectly, some of it is outside of the viewing area. It wasn't always like that, but it soon happened. I was poking around in CCC and the monitor menu, but so far have not solved it.
The Pictures will have to wait since my dads camera is dead and I cannot find the charger.

After a couple months of trying my new laptop, I'd say it is pretty good! It can run GTA IV with around 20-30 fps, as long as the settings are mostly on High and Medium. Same with Crysis.
It can also run older games, like Contract JACK, and NOLF 1 and 2 with 60+ fps at the highest graphics possible. It isn't the best choice for MM2, but if you dont mind 256 color graphics, and no cloud shadows, it is ok too.
Overall, amazing laptop. Considering that this laptop doesn't have a stacked videocard, it can run new games pretty well!

I finally took some pics of my really fancy, classy lookin computer. Prepare to drool.
Everyone likes puppies, right?
Some paper taped to the front; not only does it improve the look of the case as a whole, but it also blocks out 95% of the light from the LEDs on the fan controller.
The insides of my case.
And the monitor.
I bought some more Yate Loons since I needed six and three of my others broke. Who knew that it isn't a good idea to drop a fan while it is on?
The plastic fan blades are also very weak. The new ones aren't quite as good as the older ones I have. I figure I will try getting some very good oil for them and oiling them like people suggest.
