It's so nice Riva! :D I don't know this map for the simulator Racer. Hope for a soon alpha version release, I'm so ready for it! 8)

I work on a new MM2 map (from the Racer Car Simulation game).
  • Here's the Green Town, scratch-made by G. Alexandr and converted by me.

Are you ready about an alpha version ?

Thx !

Here's a second map from Racer, Mountain Pass scratch-made by Nickn and converted by me

Yes, but I fear that I will not be able to play for whatever reason I am not able to play Countryside (Oh yeah, stop stealing my track names! :P). If I can't...well, at least other people will be able to. I'll be happy as long as your maps help the mm2 community.

All I ask is to not make the frame rate for the game fall with the tracks.

LOL! The track name is Mountain Pass, like one of your projects. The name is that of the original Racer track. ;)

Lol, Riva should just ask HummersRock to use his track names!

Yep ... I'm sorry about Countryside problems. Do you try to drive with an original car (like the DB7 or TT) ?

Franch is right, I use the original name, sorry mate :?

Green Town is an optimized map for two reasons : few details and few objects therefore the framerate isn't a problem.

However ... you guess ... Moutain Pass use detailed textures and the polycount is high (+50k) I get 10 FPS with the Cesar's Enzo lmao, +52 with the Crysler NYorker (P4 3.4/6800 GT/2 Gb DDr).

There is also some problems with the tree bounds, some are in road and it's frustrating to try to avoid it

Countryside and Mountain Pass are both names used by HummersRock, the first has been used for a released track while the second is for a track project. But Countryside is also known as Campagne (the original Cesar's Racer track name).
With the alpha versions of your first maps I've found a lot of frame rate problems in my old PC. The frame rate is around 10 FPS with high resolution and details; I'm also using your 2006 Audi TT. I must try to use at least another low detailed car.
Any way these aren't important problems.

About the tree BOUND objects, for me is better use a low polygons rectangular object that includes the tree trunk.

Yeah, Riva, I've tried using a default car with graphics on high and with no other ar files in my mm2 folder. I tried the low texture pack and it still did not work. I'm thinking of reinstalling mm2.

I technically I can play it...but I don't like playing it without textures..
