OK, I see. Thanks. And another question: Do you know how to copy an alpha channel? Would be best for GIMP. For the wheels I found another way, but it doesn't work for the Aston Martin's lights. As you already may have seen they are completely black because they are not transparent.

Well for me in Photoshop, all I have to do is go to the little tab that shows you the Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha channels that you can turn on and off. I click on the alpha channel/layer, do a select all, copy, and then paste it in the other documents RGB channel area. Maybe in GIMP you have to create a blank Alpha channel and paste it in then?

The Fastback is finished now! :)

Image
This is the highland green paintjob. Tell me what you think about it. Do you think it's perfect or could something be changed. If so please tell me what!

The textures aren't perfect on some parts but don't worry, this will be fixed in the final version.

And a question: Anyone who want's to be a beta tester? I'll accept 5 people (+ Franch if he wants to). You can post your request in this topic. When this is basically finished I'll send it to these people including a list with known problems and bugs. Then they can report any bug they find.

Nice paint jobs for the fastback, loving Highland Green! It could have a little less saturation, but it's pretty close to Bullitt right now. :)

I wouldn't mind being a beta tester when you're done with the mod, if you want me to be one.

Yeah the saturation was the hardest part of it. I already lowered it but I guess it wasn't enough. And everyone is welcome to be a beta tester as long as the 5 person limit isn't reached!

I like the new colors, though, I do think that some of them to be darker.

Very nice paintjobs, keep up the good work, you're doing it very well. Obviously I'll test it before the releasing.

Hmm, thats weird. I got problems with some textures because they have been saved as pallet based .tga's. I never had that before. Now when I try to correct windows and lights they can only use the colors that are already in the texture. Any idea how to avoid this? Please help!

Nice paints, but the ones you made havent the orange signals on the cabin, they are painted in body colour

Oh yes, you're right, I forgot to correct them, I'm gonna do that.

In Photoshop, you have to go to Image --> Mode --> RGB. I'm not sure how it works in whatever program you use, but it's basically in Index mode (256 colors, very restrictive) and you have to convert it to RGB mode. Make sense?

Hey, I'd like to beta-test! And the colors for the Fastback are pretty nice. I think in the Freightliner, you should make the blue a little less green. Looks like sea water to me :P
