I've a bad news :(

I can't convert Polish Roads Stage 2 to MM2 because this map have more than 150.000 polys (almost 400k vertices) and after removing 1700 trees (~ 55k polys) the map crash while the screen loading. This track isn't so sexy without trees and I don't know which other objects that I can remove ... This one is very detailed, I fixed some textures but the game crash (heap overrun) with any addons, only an original car selected.

However maybe there's a solution (no kidding), if I divide the track in three parts (so three different MM2 maps), we could play with this one.

Polish Roads Stage 2 is too detailed for the game. This seems to be the same problem as HQTM-Team had with their cities; too much polygons that the game can't handle.
The .ar file of Polish Roads Stage 2 sure is more big than 50 MB.
However maybe there's a solution (no kidding), if I divide the track in three parts (so three different MM2 maps), we could play with this one.
Yeah, it's a possible solution, but maybe isn't agreed. Divide a map in two or more parts isn't good for who wants to play it.

The *.ar don't exceed 25 Mb (113 textures).

I'll export the track in three parts to see how it look.

This track is you best so far, due also to my touches. :wink:
It's very well made, but maybe it's too little and isn't a so funny map, but at least it's a great track for the game, that makes MM2 look like another game. :)

Sure, this track is more complete but missing always traffic, cops or pedestrians. The goal of this track it's to have a great test track like the other Some1 ones.

But one question Riva, Is the big damagesmoke a modification by your tracks? If yes can you pm me how you did that? :)

Isn't so. The feature of a big damages smoke for the cars is a feature of the car damages file, and each car has its settings.
A map, or any mod, can't do a similar thing to any add-on car; throught a mod is possbile to do this only to the in-game default cars.
I've already explained to Matt how to do this, and probably he'll tell to you how to do it. :wink:

Yeah it looks like a good map. I think I remember playing this, or something similar, on Racer before. Will be nice to have it in mm2.
