Wow, that UG train looks really good!

Impressive, amazing realistic looking train, but well 19000 polygons are too much for a city object and can be problematic for the game working with mods and add-ons. Should be made a different solution, like the one that Dummiesboy did with this improved version of the default model.

Great looking train! But yes you should take Franch's suggestion.

19K sounds like a lot for MM2. It looks great though.

No worries, I had in mind a backup solution for this problem: making the windows of the train not transparent will make possible to remove the 3d interiors of it. This was really a backup solution once I really like it's interiors.

So, before this "radical" solution, a B plan: The trains has some unnecessary details as such those bars in the doors, and unneeded details in the interior. I will remove this unnecessary details and try to reduce the polygon number the most I can without removing the interiors. I'll also make a version without interiors for the L and VL objects. After this, I hope it can run better.

I recognize that train... :P It looks so awesome! Just remove a lot of details (A LOT lol) and you should be fine. :) I don't blame you, though, I would try to keep as much of the necessary parts of the interior as possible.

The retextured version of the London Imax Cinema, that will be included in this mod:

I edited the pkg. file to allow it to don't use the highway texture. I'm not sure if I'll keep the Batman poster.

Heh Franch, I was hoping to forget I ever made that edited default train... it was just awful. :P

Anyway Andy, the look of the underground in your mod is pretty interesting. If I were you though, I'd try to make the station textures a little less plain. Add some contrast or something, and maybe make them a bit darker. The train is very nice, but it doesn't really fit the rest of the environment with the amount of detail it has. Try adapting its textures to the default model, it would fit better, and you wouldn't need to worry about lag.

Nice update, beautiful look. That new vegetation is just amazing. Bad see the lack of the internal ground...
Good advices, Dummiesboy.

To me, it's more than decent and it's a perfect example of improvement to a lower quality default game model.

That problem is already solved ;)

Dummiesboy allowed me to use his modified version of the Imax cinema, and now it has ground, roof and some small fixes. More than add the 2 new HD textures to it, my mod allows to use that vegetation texture instead of the San Francisco highway one (that I also changed). The improved version:

I'm also converting objects from GTA San Andreas to MM2 that will replace some objects from the game. For now, I'm replacing the Chinatown gate and the Chinatown lights.

Edit:

BTW, that Batman poster on Imax cinema really existed on the real one:

You can also have here an idea of the real Imax cinema.

Impressive! That cinema now looks well-furnished and perfect! Thanks to posters who described UG train or I wouldn't have noticed that awesome train on the last page. The train looks glassy and HD! Amazing work so far. ;)

Thanks for the replies! About the cinema, I may change the textures, because the ivy texture looks unporpotional and too big. The Batman one just need a night version.
