Hiys guys.
I got a 3500+ polygons car to work ingame! The car is from nfs:mw.
Next is to try 7000(the other half). The secret is using a lot of textures. Unlike mm2 cars, mm1 cars like a lot of textures. One tex cannot be applied to too many polys(preferably under 300 polygons).

Curious discover, so the working of higher polygons mdoel depends by the using of more textures for them, as you say the limit is under 300 polygons per texture (low polygons cars models uses so few polygons and only one texture of maximum 512x512 pixels). Really, also MM2 vehicles can have lot of textures, but sure that concept of the MM1 vehicles doesn't work also for them.

Great success in this, nice work.
Good for you with this attachment with MM1.
I would see a new car modeling project for MM1 by you with a such number of polygons, excluding the wheels I guess.
