Remove reflection from cars with City Toolkit?

Postby BUGATTIMAN253MPH » Mon Feb 17, 2014 1:01 am

Someone told me you can remove the reflection map from cars using MM2 City Toolkit. Sounds unlikely since it's only for creating cities hence the title. :P

MM2 City Toolkit has an useful sub-tool called File Browser. Due to it is possible to view various kind of files used by the game, manage the reflections, edit the materials and change the textures names of them.
To know how use it to remove the reflections from the materials of a car type .pkg file, check this tutorial made by the program author.

Well, there isn't nothing complicated in doing that, really. A very good more practical alternative is explained here, all done in ZModeler.

Obviously, post a new topic in the Cars Projects forum section about this new project of yours. Shouldn't need to tell you that...
