Awesome! So you said that the beta version will only be available until the end of the day, so you're removing the link from you're previous post? :?
In fact, it's ready NOW! The beta version in complete, and it features all the stuff I refered, the only thing is not correct is, instead of adding one new checkpoint to "Central Park Frenzy", I added 2.

EnzoSkylineMiura, I don't understand your question: are you asking if I will remove the link of the alpha version? No, I will not. The beta version has more features, so if you are intrested in try this mod I recomend to install the beta version that I'll give the link in the end of this post, but you can continue downloading the alpha version.

This mod will add to New York City the following circuits:

"Central Park Frenzy"

"Arround Manhattan"

Image

And, my favourite, "Midnight Madness"

Remember the following things:

If you have the alpha version on your game directory, delete it before put the beta version on it.
Make sure this ar. fle appears in alphabetic list before the New York City ar. file.
This mod only works if you have New York City 1.2 on your game directory (I never tryed with 1.1, so I don't know if it works there).


For now, this beta version is only availiable to download at Mediafire. When I have more progress, I upload it to MM2X.

BTW, I already understood your question. I called to the first version I put on Mediafire alpha version, and this new one beta version. But, when I posted the first one to download, I called it beta version. That's why this mess. Well, I gonna change the post where I call the first version beta and change it to alpha, so the things get clarified :wink:

Thank you! I'm working on the opponents, but it's a bit hard to make them work properly. When I have more progress, I say something.

Very nice work. Nice loading screens, but maybe you could consider the use of the apposite made template (it's pretty visible that's SF the city visible in the above ones).

I noticed a bug in the Midnight Madness race, when I come out of the tunnel, it blocks and I get the "heap overrun" message, I got that when using both the Red Rocket car and the 1967 Ford GT 40 car.

I didn't had this bug, it worked always fine in my computer.

Please, can you give me more information about it?: are you drivig at night time or at a different time?

Are you using the video card and T&L or just the video card?

All these circuits worked with no problem in my computer (even Midnight Madness with the beta opponents), and I use the video card and T&L, resolution 1366x768 and I tested it with The Monster (that cool Mustang from Death Race). Today I'll test the track with Red Rocket and I say something.

I tryed it with the Red Rocket and with Ford Mustang Fastback (can't try with Panoz GT because I don't use the default cars, so it's locked) and I have no problem. Maybe it's because some mod you have, or it's because some mod I have that it don't crash with me. Anyway, I remember that once I noticed if I drive with Range Rover Concept in some places of NYC at night it crashes probably because the lights, and at day time it didn't.

Try to do the race at afternoon time (you can change it on race selection menu) and tell me if it crashes.

Disabling the T&L is a nice way to allow better cars run in NYC without crashing, but the framerate drops a bit, so if you don't want to play in this city with a higher detailed car no need to disable it.

Please, if anyone else have this or any other problem with this mod, let me know that.
