Portugal forever! I'm Portuguese as well, but I live in Canada . Don't worry about the presentation thing, it's nice to know a bit about the people you are meeting, so, it's not uncommon.
It's also nice to know that the Midtown Madness community is growing, it's special to new people discovering it every day it seems.
Anyway, nice meeting you, and have a good time here!

.... I won't tell my country. But, Welcome to the Midtown Madness community, Andy! About that your game crashes with more mods. Its usual, heap over run happens when MM2 has more mods in it and it cannon hold them.

Thank you all!
I see that Portugal is well represented here in MM2X
Franch88, thank you for your answers about my questions. I have more than 15 cars in my game, because I'm not sure about it but I think we can add more cars if some of them are low polygon cars (my laptop is not much powerfull, so they are great for avoid lag problems). I would like to add more at the same time, but in this case I will use them alternately.
About the car convertions, well I will take a look about it. I'm really curious to learn how to do it, because there are some cars that I really like but they were never converted for MM2.
Pyter512, yeah I already tryed New York, it's really one of the most well done add on citys for MM2. The only bad thing is we need to change the resolution of the game for a lower one, if not it crashes.

ItYour laptop is not so powerful? So maybe you must not add any high poly vehicles & tracks, or maybe your MM2 will lag more or crash.

Nobody here seems to understand the connection between
"Too many cars" and "Crash" (Not you, people helping you)
If your error is "Heap Overrun" or "Heap Overrun [dat CurrentMemAlign=x]" then that means there is too many things attempting to load into the memory, Therefore some vehicles/cities/mods need to be removed.

Not trying to take you away from MM2 but,you should try Carmageddon 2,it has a great community too, just like MM2X...
About the Heap Overrun,it's just too many add-ons man,and your Laptop doesn't seems to help alot too, anyway just delete the old and hi-poly cars...
It's not necessary to get a lower resolution to have a better performance at NYC,taking off a bit of the draw distance should work for MOST tracks, most, not all of them...

Aaro, I already knew that's so, the technical explaining could be avoided, and at the end the conclusion it's the same... The "Heap Overrun" error it's obviously referred to the memory limit in how much files the game can load, being designed for old systems that in those times hadn't much memory like nowadays. Also, in overall seems that MM2 was little designed to be modded...
And that's right too, if the cars add-ons are low polygons and use littler textures, so their .ar files are pretty little (maximum 2 MB each), it's possible add more, even reach 30 of them. With the tracks it's pretty valid the same rule, instead with mods not always.
About New York city add-on, it's suggested play the better improved 1.2 version, and by searching in the forum you can find old topics about problems given by this add-on city, for more info. In few words, to avoid game crashes, it's better avoid the playing of too much high polygons cars add-ons and the use of too high traffic and pedestrians densities.
