How do I make a car faster via using the Midtown Tweaker? I also need some more explanation on using the tweaker.

With Midtown Tweaker program you can edit many tuning parameters of only the default MM1 cars. It's simple to use, write the path to the core.ar file in the apposite field (default installing one is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Midtown Madness\core.ar), then select one of the 11 cars (10 player plus the AI cop) from the Cars menu, change the various values as you want (better don't exaggerate too much with the values difference) and at the end click on menu File

Really easy, just increase the MedDamage and MaxDamage values, present in the Body tab. Don't forget to save the changes everytime, of course.

I made the Panoz GTR-1's MedDamage and MaxDamage values the same as the City Bus', I write it to the datafile, but it still has it's normal stats.Really easy, just increase the MedDamage and MaxDamage values, present in the Body tab. Don't forget to save the changes everytime, of course.

For "normal stats" you mean the ones visible in the vehicle selection screen, right? They can't be changed, because they're part of the car info file, no editable with this tool. The important is that in-game while a gameplay you really get the car harder to destroy.
