IamLegend's once in a while MM2 time trials
Interest check, official time trials coming soon
IamLegend's once in a while MM2 time trials
This idea was hanging in my mind for a while and now I would open it up.
Before anything else though, I want to see how interested you guys are. Some sort of interest check. I'll open the first MM2 time trial if you guys like my idea, but if nobody would bother to join in then this thread can be locked away.
So... have a time trial once in a while, in a duration of like 1 week?

Nope. It's about having time trial (or time attack) competition with a specific car and a specific map, instead of just posting your records of a certain track. I want MM2X to have a bit of fun, ya know, that's why I thought this up.You mean, this thread a trial?
I'm just trying to see if anyone's interested first.

I think I haven't explained the rules yet. Some of these aren't final yet so I want your opinion on these:
- This time trial contest is unique because you need to do a lap time in a specific car in a specific map. For example, you take a Murcielago on Brands Hatch. Only Murcielagos are allowed, you cannot use other cars like a Gallardo or a Ferrari. (final)
- To ensure the competitive nature of the contest, you are allowed to update your lap times. The contest will run on a limited time span so try to grab the #1 spot before time runs out!
- To be fair with the others, only keyboard is allowed.
- Always provide proof of your laptime by uploading either a picture or video, or even both. (final)
- Corner cutting is allowed only in SF or London courses, but in custom maps, it is not allowed.
- Do NOT modify the add-on to get an unfair edge against others. It is also considered cheating. (final)
- Of course, don't be a prick to your fellow MM2X members. It's common sense to avoid insulting others. (final, obviously)
I tend to be forgetful but I guess that's all.

Yeah, I have second thoughts on that rule. Being on a mouse gives the advantage of smooth steering... But it's still possible with keyboard I guess so I think mouse is okay. But playing with a controller... Nah screw that rule. Why? Every time I use Mouse and it'll have same speed And Maybe many people here liker using a mouse (example: Jelly)- To be fair with the others, only keyboard is allowed.
EDIT: I Interested with this Game
Yeah, also tried the mouse myself, seems fun but it takes some time getting used to.I noticed the keyboard rule, and lol I truly suck at keyboards, no doubt, only mouse I'm good at. Not using a Controller is a good idea also.

Guys, I still need your opinions on corner-cutting and updating of lap times.

Speaking from experience here.
I play CnR on gameranger regularly, and I know a handful of people who use a gamepad (same as mouse). It is simply impossible to beat them, because they can make much cleaner turns, resulting in minimal speed loss in most corners that would require at least a few taps of the brake from a keyboard user. Trust me, I'm a very good driver, and I know plenty of other great drivers too.. we all get fed up playing with them, because they are impossible to beat.
May want to take this into consideration.
