Colin Mcrae DiRT2

Postby hastantyo » Tue Feb 08, 2011 3:51 am

Hi guys, I've got new system a month ago. Pretty good enough, and it's a Laptop. First, I bought the first series of DiRT game. The game quiet nice, works fine in my system. But, the graphics and the game features a bit less than GRID.

So, I bought the next series of DiRT, the DiRT2. The game is very nice. Nice features too. In the game menu, all using 3D objects, I mean we felt like we self on there (1st person look). And the graphics was amazing. Different far with DiRT, or GRID. Including DirectX 11 shader, which more better than DirectX 9 shader. But, when I'm using DirectX 11, Fraps wont work (not yet compatible). So, I used DirectX 9 for those pictures under.

Pictures (DiRT2) :

In car selection, Rally Cars.

There are 3 different class for 1 car. Rally, RallyCross, and Trailblazer. Each class, had different looks on the car. And for another class, like Raid, Baja, Buggy, etc.

More pictures coming soon! :D

Yeah, indeed. :D But, when I'm using max graphics settings and max resolution, the game run about 10 FPS, LOL ... My system can't handle more. :(

Yeah, I saw the teaser. They added new surfaces/wheater conditions. Like rain, show, etc. More new cars will be there also. :)

Very nice screenshot, great look on your new system, also if the graphic settings aren't set to the maximum there, I guess. The maximum graphic settings use the DirectX 11 for slightly better water and moving flags effects in particular (with the tessellation), this makes it slower if the system isn't enough powerful.
It's a great game, I have it since when it was released, it's very good in everything, the driving is great with the gamepad.

DiRT 3 looks really interesting with more rally events and the inedit gymkhana races.

I'm so dumb and lazy. I bought this game installed, and then it wanted me to download an update in order to play with the save feature enabled. I tried more than once but, either it was downloading very slowly or it was a very big download, so I gave up. I haven't tried anymore. XD

I guess I should try again...

Yeah, its a great game. I haven't finished it yet (carrer), but I just reach level 42 now. I do more quick race than events.

You can see it on the Gameplay pictures there, "Joe Hastantyo". LoL, I thought it was ugly, but nevermind. :)

Anyway, how did you ripped some cars from there? Because the trailblazer cars has great body work. :)

Actually, you haven't to register online, or download something to enabled the auto save feature. You can make offline account for your personal use. I search it in Google how to make it.
