My main menu is at wrong resolution

Please help me, my main menu is at the wrong resolution, and it looks crap tbh

When i am racing it is fine, but choosing races and cars tc it changes my whole resolution, please somebody, how do i fix this

I'm not sure enough, but I think MM2 has fixed resolution for main menu.

How "crap" is it actually?

well, its livable, but its not aesthetically pleasing, i have a crt so it sort of squishes up and stuff, oh well, if its fixed never mind!

the menus are a set of jpegs, 640 by 480, its so the menu will run on rubbish computers. i am gonna try adn see if it is possible 2 increase the resolutions but that will involve updating everyihting. if you simply make the jpeg bigger then only the top left conrner is shown

Anthony, sure the game set a 640x480 screen resolution on menus because all menu screens are, like you've said, .jpg images that have that resolution. I don't believe if increasing the resolution of these images, the screen resolution will change. The result is a wiev of part of the increased image, and the part is, like you've already said, the top left one.

yh, i am aware of that, we need to find out where the menu resolution is defineded. you woul dalso have to relocate the menus and resize them as point 456,265 for example would me much higher and further lef on a higher resolution.

You can't actually change that, all that is part of the actual EXE file. It can't be decompiled.

Are you sure its in the exe file and not one of the dlls?
