My MM1 track

Postby zoot » Mon Dec 20, 2010 11:35 pm

Hi! I have got this part of a new track ingame. Here's some sneak peaks. :) Textures aren't final, lol. They are just to show where things are at. ;) Btw, sorry for low-resolution pics. MM1 will only go to 640x480 on this pc. ;)

Good work with your first MM1 track, what's done so far looks like your previous tests. If is possible remove those buildings and roads would be better, they don't fit what will seem to be the track.

Yes. It is possible to remove the buildings. I think it's in the BNG(it's like mm2's inst file.) file. To edit props, etc.

Thanks guys! I have some updates. I made some more details and have made it so that the hairpin isn't that sharp. I also added a bridge, a lake, and railroad tracks. More to come!

Nice progress, that building looks a garage. Good luck with figuring out the texturing, Xacto said that the textures works if placed inside a car add-on .ar file (I don't remember well, but indeed all the MM1 tracks have always a car add-on .ar file); pretty weird thing in MM1.

Hi guys, I finally got custom textures for tracks working! :D Here's a preview of my track ingame, along with TheJerk's first WIP car. :) And, btw. The textures only work if they are named inside a car's TSH(texture file that list's textures used on car) file. ;)

Good work, looks that's a new texture just by the slightly light green color. So in MM1 are used files with the list of the used textures, but they're related with the car add-ons.
