race circuits?

race circuits?

i've heard that people have made race circuits for midtown madness i have a couple of questions?

1. is there a polycount limit?
2. is there a material limit(textures)
3. is there a guide for naming parts, etc

well thats all i can think of for now, please if you'd help me that'd be great thanks for reading

1. I would try to make a track under 10,000 polygons to keep it from lagging ingame. Don't have too much details in one spot, etc.
2. I don't think there is a limit.
3. Start with one object, GROUND_ . If it is too highpoly, break it into objects, GROUND_ again, it'll be GROUND_[1]. Everything after '_' , MM2ct ignores. Have fun! :D

mmm ok, well the track i have in mind would come close to maybe one million polys, texures unsure i'd have to reload the track to find out,

just i'd like to do a v8 mod for mm2, i've got 2010 v8 series, bathurst,goldcast etc et

i know this may sound foreign but i'm australian and have wanted to do somethign like this for a very long time now

1 million 8O 8O i'm sure mm2 wont support that it would crash while loading

and where did you get that track ??? i'm sure even NFS tracks don't have all those polys

WTF!? lol 1 million wouldn't be possible for an ol'MM2 I guess...
But its upto you if ya wanna give it a go.

ah bloody hell a kiwi damn it haha...all good, yeah it's definitely something that i'll consider...but right now i'm just trying to get a handle on this game
