the German Truck Simulator game .. a new improvements from Euro Truck Simulator, which added 3 more trucks brand to it .. there are DAF-XF, MAN-TGX, and IVECO-STRALIS ..
i've download the demo of it, and i open the "base.scs". i see whole enviroments code is nice, like the textures, reflection, models, and more ..
then i opened these 3 new Trucks .. the models are very nice, very simple low poly, but very accurate .. not more than 15k .. i've also converted 3 Trucks from ETS before, and its still private mod .. and with this, i will start to conver these trucks:
MAN - TGX : Class A, Class B, Class C
Iveco Stralis : Class A, Class B, Class C
Daf XF : Class A, Class B, Class C
i've already those 3d models, textures, and i took those pictures in my ZM .. how about you all .. ? interested .. ? for the 18 WOS Extreme Truckers, Trucks soon .. !

A such topic there's already Hastantyo, it's here, but is ok talk here only about the game trucks 3D models. They're really nice models, very good for less than 15000 polygons, but only the MAN trucks are licensed and have the right logos. They're perfect for other games obviously.

sorry Franch, each trucks has 25k poly .. not 15, my bad typing on keyboard .. yeah, just MAN Truck that have the right logo .. but, im tried to find another one .. i try to find the "real logo mod, for GTS Trucks" like Matt was posted it there .. hehe ..

Good to have converted those nice models to MM2, they have a really nice look in-game. To consider a releasing.
The logo of the Iveco truck model is wrong, since it's not licensed, right? Sure with the real logos mod for that game is possible import the models with that thing fixed. The same is for the DAF logo.

@ Matt1314 : matt, may i ask you something .. ? could you send me the link for "GTS Real Logo mod" .. ? because i can't find it .. and also, could you send me the dashboard pictures in game for each trucks .. ? because i want to make a dashboard like i did on my ETS mod .. i have those dashboard models, but i can't put the materials and textures for each parts on the dasboard .. the *.pmd file makes me eyes blind, so much code there .. anyway, i'm waiting for the sound ya .. !
@ Franch : well, thanks Franch that you moved and renamed this thread. i'm a bit confused before, how to .. uhm, may i asked you some thing .. ? you're perfect for making the brakelight texture (glowing) in Photoshop. like you did on my BMW M6, and Cristian's BMW X6 .. i have Photoshop too, but i can't make an image with alpha .. i don't know how to do it.. i just can make it from Dxtbmp, and the result is not like yours .. the lights glowing is annoying in game ..

i'm try modified the light texture (glowing), to make it looks more realistic in game. almost got it.

a bit better ya .. ? but, the quality is need to be improved .. because, i made the *.tga image from Dxtbmp, which had not good quality for the result (16 bit for primary texture, 256k color for alpha texture) .. can you teach me how to make an image with alpha from Photoshop .. ? because, Photoshop have better quality than Dxtbmp ..

after worked hard about 10 hours, here is the pics for new improvements (all Trucks):

- added 6 colors, which same colors for those trucks. (White, Gray, Black, Red, Blue, and Yellow)
- reflection removed, in some parts don't need it
- fix camera tuning (more realistic)
things to do:
- make a Dashboard
- make a Sound
- find and fix the real logos for all Trucks
- fix the light texture (quality)
- make a realistic handling

Nice tail lights, NFS Shift uses the same Not really realistic for a super car but fit perfectly to a truck or something like that (with basic tail lights).
If you want to improve them, just don't make an alpha layer from Photoshop, if you're using a black background, in-game, the texture will be transparent.
