Midtown Madness 2 Force Feedback

Is there any way to enable the force feedback for midtown madness 2 while using a Xbox 360 Controller for Windows? The option to enable the force feedback is greyed out and the only info I came across is kb285029 https://support.microsoft.com/kb/285029
