Problem loading MM2

hi,

I have a problem loading MM2, after not playing it for 2 years I decided to dust it off and give it a go. I've installed the XP Patch and when I go to load up MM2 my monitor starts flicking through DVI and Analogue modes trying to find a signal and eventually goes into standby. I can still alt-tab back to desktop no problem the monitor comes out of standby. When I try and re-enter the game I still can't see anything.

I have an AMD XP3200+ processor, ATI Radeon 9800XT graphics card (19" TFT Monitor plugged in with DVI cable) and 1GB of DDR Memory.

Also I have no mods installed, just a fresh install of MM2, I've used the search button on here but found nothing.

i had a similar config (AMD XP 2500+, radeon 9800XT ViVo, 1 gb ram DDR) and a 18,1" lcd but i never had a similar problem.. try to connect a normal monitor if you can.. probably mm2 opens with a strange resolution or refresh that your monitor wont handle..
