ZM 1.07b on Vista

Postby Silent1Unknown » Fri Sep 11, 2009 6:36 am

Has anyone ever successfully installed (and used) ZM 1.07b on Windows Vista? Because it doesnt work for me. If I try to download, copy from a CD or even try to directly install from the CD the zm1.07b install file, I get this error message:

I even tried to "run it as administrator", but it still doesnt work. I'm out of ideas. Can anyone help?

Otherwise, I will have to do modeling in ZM 2.2.2 (but I'm enthusiastic to try it), save as .3ds and then import to ZM 1.05c (works on Vista). The reason I dont work in ZM 1,05c is I dont know how to zoom in and out of the viewing windows other than the 3D view.

It works properly in Windows Vista, also if I haven't installed it, I've it in a folder. If you want I can give it to you, so you avoid to install it, since the problem is to run the setup program installation file.
It's like a kind of limitation of the OS, not having the permission to run that file.

It would be nice if you could send it to me. Thanks. But how did you install it on your computer?

I've installed it from the installation file, downloaded from the Zanoza website, nothing special. I've the 1.07b version of the program in a folder, so it's not installed, since some years. Check your PMs inbox for it.

The reason I dont work in ZM 1,05c is I dont know how to zoom in and out of the viewing windows other than the 3D view.
I think you zoom in and out using the + and - keys on your keyboard.
