how to extract .ar that winrar reads it damaged, i tried dear2 but he said (it's can be opened with zip program)

DeAR 2 program can extract only the four game .ar files. For the add-ons and mods .ar files you have to use WinZip or WinRar, if the file isn't locked. For the locked files there's no way.

how ,it read the file but there is a * on every file so i can't extract it

Indeed, it's because the file is locked. Open them with WinRar, you can see the content, but you can't extract it because the program asks to insert a password that really doesn't exist. It's the locking method that does this.
People lock the released files to prevent any steal and unauthorized use of the content.

If you want to open some HQTM's files (like the clkassic madness), they're all locked by a password. But they created CMChanges patch in the Classic madness pack to improve or finish their work .

Only the Classic Madness cm_core .ar file is locked, the one with the files of the cars, the new menus, the new rain time textures (made for the snow time), and some other thing. The cm_cities and the cm_changes .ar files aren't locked to be allowed edits to complete the cities; the cm_changes file has just the tuning and some other file of the car, not so much.

Originally had to be only one city, but they said that the cities don't work united, this is why they splitted them.
