Nice work, the hood looks good. This isn't the KITT version, but the other one, it is? The KITT version has other different details for the front part.

Great one Tech. Looks quite accurate to the real GT500KR model (that's what KITT 3000 is, for those who don't notice it yet). :)

The kitt I've made right now, is the way it looks when not transformed.
like this:
Image
The second kitt I'm going to make for the car pack will be kitt in attack mode, like this one:
Image
I think I will put NOS on it and make (I thought it was blue?) flames come out of the exhausts on the side (like silent's mazda 3)

I like the car, but the pics from zmodeler remind me that you used MM2BR version, so try changing the basename and texture names.

When I woke up this morning and looked at the hood again, I wasn't quite satisfied, so I edited it again
This is how it looks like now:

Also I've changed the base name, so it won't conflict

Wow. Nice edits to the hood. It looks accurate. Like Franch, I thought you were also going to add all the other details on the front (in the first pic you showed)...but I dont like them, so its all good. :) Good luck with the second version.

Also, NOS flames can be modified to show any color. The one for my Mazda3, I just found an animation on the net and used it without modifying it.

EDIT: Actually, instead of making 2 separate cars, you could make it the same car having 2 different paintjobs. All the model parts will be there, but for the non-transformed version, the extra parts can appear invisible (because theyve been textured as transparent) and for the transformed version, they are visible with appropriate colors. See HQTM Team's Peugeot 407as a great example of this.

That's a great idea, it is much simpler and the carpack won't be unnecessary large. :)
however I don't think it is possible, if you look at the kitt in attack mode above you will see the rear wheels are wider, the body is tilted forward and almost all body lines are different :(

So you've made this version like the one in that picture, it looks very similar. Nice work. :)
For the second KITT version in attack mode, if it'll have the NOS effect, you must do it as another car and then release both as carpack. The idea showed by Silent1Unknown isn't bad, but it's also pretty impegnative to do (I did a similar thing with the tuned paintjobs of my 2003 Honda Accord Type-S conversion).

OH! You could also use Dummiesboy's new glowing technique on the front red lights. Try it. ;)

Here's available a tutorial about that glowing technique. You can make it also animated, because is easy make any texture animated in any car part.
However, just don't use the normal game fxtlglow.tga texture for the hood red glows, but a renamed copy of it, especially if you want to make it animated.

The glowing techniques doesnt affect the animation. It only makes the faces reflect more light, so that any texture on them will appear brighter.
