Unfortunately I use too much textures for my models, except both VW but I'm going to keep the single painting by cars. It will take too much time and I should need 1024x1024 textures for some models to gather all textures in an only one or then I should reduce this one (512x512 or 256x256) but these would be then very poor quality.

I've talked about this in my beta test report of your very nice traffic mod. If the use of multiple paintjobs isn't possible, well, doesn't matter.

Unfortunately this mod is going to give very big problems to the players because of the impossibility of the game to manage a good amount of traffic cars with or withour cop cars and with a medium/high polygons player car.
Play with your cop mod without any traffic mod won't give serious problems of too polygons to be managed by the game graphic engine.
The game has bad limits in managing polygons number, and the game crashes nearly at the end of the city loading because of this.

Imo some players (and me) shall to have play either with this mod or with detailed addons but not all at once.

BTW I started two new vehicle convertions, here's of course the infos and in-game shots.

AC Schnitzer BMW ACS6

I started this amazing car (very well detailed) but I removed more of 10k because the car don't work with more than 55k vertices.

This car rocks really 8O

Here's the pics in-game :

ImageImageImageImage
  • Modeler : DMB
Original game : GTA San Andreas

    MM2 convertion : Riva
3D driver : Stecki (Tyrese Gibson)
    Dashboard : EuropaCar (Serie 6)

    1710 kg, 507 HP
    Max speed : 155 MPH
    Real wheel drive
    0 to 60 MPH : 4.5 sec

    74.590 polys
    10 official paintjobs
Peterbilt 359

I started the convertion of this truck by editing the Scania's Christian dashboard with a simple Peterbilt logo on the steering wheel. I know this dash is too modern for this truck but the original dash (Century) is less interesting than this one.

I've a problem in-game (not from the selection menu) with the additional wheels (WHL4_H:m & 5), first time the game crash because I forgot to copy the middle detailed objects (WHL4_M:m ; like the FNDR) but even with this LoD the last wheels don't appear. However I used these wheels for the GTA SA "Linneruner" Peterbilt and I added the dgBangerData files.

I didn't find the problem, I'll test with low poly wheels to check if I'm right about the polycount.

While waiting both wheels are attached to the body.

Here's the pics in-game :

  • Modeler : Klarnetist
Original game : GTA San Andreas

    MM2 convertion : Riva
3D driver : Nuclear Hedgehog (Pedro)
    Dashboard : VW-Tuner-Oburg, Riva

    Animated reverse lights
    Amazing realistic night lights
    Smoking exhausts
    Auto-regeneration

    54.057 polys
    10 official paintjobs

These models are very awesome, great details on the AC Schnitzer BMW ACS6 3D model and very nice lights on the Peterbilt 359 truck.

I'll give to you my report about them soon.

Indeed Klarnetist (from the old SPC team of Pumbars) and DMB (from the old GTA Customs team of Slayer) are great high polys modelers.

So everything is done. This amazing truck is now available.

Enjoy and have fun !

Congrats Riva, it's one of the best trucks for MM2, in every aspect. 8)

The ACS6 will be the next one. It's a BMW M6 tuned by the AC Schnitzer.
