On a more serious note, that looks great Franch. Finally a Corvette for mm2 that isn't as low poly/back looking as the original cars for mm2 (no offense to that makers). I can't wait for this.

Try to make the tuning realistic. ;P

Second news. These are some in-game pictures of my Chevrolet Corvette C6 conversion.

This is the actual stock of the situation. Only some adjusts on tuning files and the vehicle showcase still to do.

Things done:
1. Created the folders structure;
2. Made the 3D car model for MM2 with the detachable parts and the driver in ZModeler;
3. Found the eight colors and names in the Chevrolet Corvette C6 official website;
4. Selected the sounds to use from the game Test Drive Unlimited;
5. Made the dashboard with the two versions;
6. Made the other paintjob textures;
7. Made the damages file and a first version of the car tuning;
8. Created a first version of the Readme file.

Things to do:
1. Make the vehicle showcase;
2. Adjust the car tuning files;
3. End the Readme file.

I've already sent to Riva the beta for tests; anyway, it doesn't need improvements.

LZR_SL, I've already chosen a picture for the vehicle showcase. The first one is better, but it remembers the one used for the 2006 Fiat Grande Punto vehicle showcase.

Oburg, I've used the dashboard picture found by me because it's similar to the car 3D interiors. I've taken the needles from yours.

Absolutely incredible as always, Franch! Fantastic car, and it looks great in game! But when you click on the screen shot next to the night time screen shot, it shows a Fiat Grande Punto and not the Corvette, showed in the little picture. So the fifth screen isn't appropriate to the little C6 image. Hope, you'll fix that.

Third news. All the things has been done, and, after got a reply from Riva about testings, I can say a release date; it's, also reported in the car Readme.txt file:

The date is tomorrow, 10th of July 2008.

In this date the car will be available at this site, MM2 eXtreme.
Of course, I give my permission to publish this car also in other important sites, like MM2 Brasil and MMArchive.

Fourth news. My fifteenth car conversion, the Chevrolet Corvette C6 from NFS Carbon converted by AirOne and converted for Midtown Madness 2 by me, is available in my FileFront space and here at MM2X!
Soon it'll be at MM2BR and at MMArchive websites.

It has 20456 polygons, so it's a medium polygons model, like the other car models of the last three NFS games.

Congratulations Franch. This is a very good conversion. And its polycount is good enough for my computer. The threshold is about 20-25k. After that, you notice the lagging. Thanks again for bringing a great car into MM2.
