The freezes were caused by having enable action queuing checked in the nforce SATA controllers in device manager with the event 129, nvstor64: Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued.

The last time I got a BSOD was on 11/10/2015, and then the first BSOD I had was on 3/06/2015, going by the first error I had in event viewer I first got the PC sometime in October 2014.

@Kunal2045, It's a custom built PC.

If you aren't getting any BSODs since, then you're doing fine. Do you think it was the thrid party scans that solved it ?

Keanu Reeves chose the Red pill and started bending spoons. I chose ZModeler 1.07b and made my own Matrix.

@BM: I mean when you're doing something then suddenly you get a BSOD for instance. If you cannot recall it then its fine. Atleast you got them fixed either way.

Third-party software scans did the job ?

I disabled action queuing for SATA controllers.

So... that means disabling the pre-emptive 'application loading' cache that the controllers allow ? Or am I just wild guessing ?
