It's technically in progress because I've already done my first conversion from Re-Volt to MM2. :lau:

BEHOLD, MM2x people, finally, after 18 years of Midtown Madness 2 lifetime, a proper default Re-Volt car is finally present in our Game!
It was LUDICROUSLY tedious to do. This was done in Blender.

Look closely, I tried to replicate the exact same car shown in Re-Volt, with the info inside parameters.txt, it contains the coordinates from all the objects of the car, they look misplaced according to the model's textures but that's how it looks in the original game too :P , I still did most of the work by myself, the axles and springs weren't properly rotated among other things. I had to re-size the car, done a lot of testing and observation because objects weren't sized properly, this is the nearest approximation of the car I could do according to the shown in Re-Volt.

IN A FEW WORDS this is the best version of the RC San you will ever see, I hope it is, I tried, remember the variations of the same car that are found at MM2 France?

yeeeeaaaaahh. I still like them though! Everything is art.
Specially the Auto UFO, it has really deep alien sounds and very unique tuning/physics, it feels like a whole new game driving on it.
It may sound silly but for me it's a gift from the depths of the MM2's modding scene. :cool3:

In fact...

I've fixed the UV Map in this UFO from a French user but not yet in my own attempt to convert it :lol:

I will fix that for my own convertion instead. A bit of odd rotated textures in such a silly UFO car is fine.

I really wanna thank Skarma, for making me begin this, and Re-Volt, a game from my childhood, I don't remember a game with the nostalgia hitting so hard :')
For giving me the motivation. ^_^

New Features:
・New Added Headlights, Backlights and Taillights.
・Remade Damage System (now it takes damage instead of being unbreakable)
Damage Smoke effects are a little more blue-ish because yes! It adds uniquety to it.
・Remade LODs and made them much better, before all low quality LODs used the same High quality version, what a waste.
・Removed Doubles to Improve the car's overall shading, in other words it decreased useless vertexes, now the heap patcher has to sweat less to load that memory!
・More accurate stats in the in-game menu
・Improved collision box to avoid hitting curbs + made it less bouncy (very RNG stuff...)

Impressive work and presentation. :)
A mod for MM2 about Re-Volt, with all the RC vehicles of it plus its sounds and some more, would be nice.

Just tried out the RC San and it is awesome! The sounds are great and the tuning is just like in Re-Volt. :D BTW, once I did some vehicles from Re-Volt and if you want you can improve them. It would be nice to see them recreated. :) (They're available on my site)
