Here a checkpoint idea that makes absolutely no sense

Image
Note: For those who don't know what does inverted checkpoint means:
Two checkpoints at same place or 1 check up and another under at same blablabla

Name: Sensitive
Opponents: 5 (2 Mustang GTs, 2 Fastbacks and 1 Cop) Amateur
At Professional: (2 RSis, 2 Roadsters and 1 Cop)
Amateur settings: 13% Traffic, 8 cops, Clear Evening
Professional: 28% Traffic, 10 cops, Raining Noon

Thought I'd dump an assload of spitballs here.

Pier Pressure (Simple circuit around Navy Pier)
South River Run? :P
Highway To Hell (Checkpoint Race across the highway backwards with fierce traffic and cops)
Late for the game! (Blitz race to Soldier Field with fierce traffic and cops)
Wriggle through Wrigley (Small Blitz race at Wrigley Field)
Chinatown! (Complex circuit around the Chinatown)
Chicago Stunt Driving (Blitz over ramps and drawbridges and through buildings with traffic and cops)
Wanted in Chicago (Checkpoint from outside Grant Park, past the EL and outskirts and to the highway.)

It has some sense I guess. Not bad. Great try :)

Pier Pressure! This name sounds fantastic. The circuit may be simple, but believe me, it would be very tough one when the opponents would be GTR-1s, Roadsters and Cops. Great idea, man!

Chinatown is a great idea as well. There is hardly a decent circuit ever designed around the Chinatown so I'm sure there is gonna be one this time.

Highway Through Hell seems to have amazing concept. It's quite possible in MM2.

South River Run would be great. I was planning to remake North River Run, but I guess replacing it with South River Run is more worth it to make the Checkpoint list more attractive.

The ideas for blitz races are great as well.

Thank you for so many ideas. You were able to create many pictures in my mind with a handful text :)

I'm am so hyped for this, it's great that your doing a racemod in Chicago on MM2.

Here are 2 of my ideas:
NOTE: I didn't use map for those 2, you can think of the routes they can go to.

Race name: Chinatown to Navy Pier (name might be changed)
Checkpoint

Opponents: 8
Amateur: 2 Mustang GTs, 2 VW New Beetles, 2 Cadillac Eldorados, 1 New Mini Cooper and 1 LTV.
Professional: 1 VW New Beetle Dune, 1 VW New Beetle RSi, 2 Audi TTs, 2 Ford Mustang Cruisers (Cops), 1 Aston Martin DB7, and 1 Panoz Roadster.

Cops: 6 (Amateur), 12 (Professional) half being at Navy Pier and other half first 75% of the race for both.

Traffic: 40% (Amateur), 50% (Professional)

Weather: Evening, Cloudy (Amateur), Night, Clear (Professional)

2nd race name: Unknown race name. Starts on freeway next to Wrigley, ends at Meigs.
Blitz

Time Limit: 1:40:00 for Amateur, 1:28:00 for Professional (may be changed depending on difficulty)

Cops: 5 (Amateur), 10 (Professional), most near and at Meigs.

Traffic: 60% Amateur, 80% Professional.

Weather: Evening, Clear (Amateur), Evening, Rain (Professional).

I'll think of more ideas soon.

Again, i'm pretty excited for this racemod, keep up the good work man.

Another race idea (No map):
Race Name: Tunnel Terror
Checkpoint
Basically a checkpoint race where you go every tunnel in Chicago.

Weather: Night, Clear (Amateur), Night, Foggy (Professional)

Opponents (8 for both)
Amateur: 1 VW New Beetle, 1 Cadillac Eldorado, 1 Ford F-350, 1 Mini Cooper Classic, 1 New Mini Cooper, 1 LTV, 1 London Cab and 1 Ford Mustang Fastback.
Professional: 1 Ford Mustang GT, 1 Ford Mustang Cruiser (Cop), 1 VW New Beetle Dune, 1 VW New Beetle RSi, 1 Audi TT, 1 Aston Martin DB7, 1 Panoz GTR-1 and 1 Panoz Roadster.

Cops: 3 for Amateur and 6 for Professional.
Also some buses (can't think of how many) will be blocking some of the roads.

Traffic: 20% for Amateur and 40% for Professional.

Thank you Yoshi for your valuable ideas! Chinatown to Navy Pier is decent concept. Thank for meticulous details. Tunnel Terror is great idea, it's on the list :)
And yes, how can I forget Celebrate With The Fishes. I'm sure it's pretty possible.

Jimmy. You have provided the idea for the neatest circuit yet. This is lovely. Thank you so much. Don't Miss The Game is amazing concept.

Ch405. Thank you for providing the concept of City Turnee. I'd definitely make the similar race using your concept. I appreciate your map-work :)

Oh geez, I had no idea that Rohit was working on another racepack all this time.

I'm liking what I'm seeing here so far though! Everyone here has promising ideas, and I really like the idea of adding new races to Chicago's MM2 equivalent, since the race making process of MM1 is not for everyone. I have several ideas for this racepack, but I think I'll post them once this project is no longer on hold.
