- Fixed the Opcode that makes "vpcop" reads the tuning files of "vpmustang99" instead of its own.

Nice finds! I wonder if the MM1 car physics can be found in MM2
Retired from modifying Midtown Madness games. Nowadays I mod Crashday Redline Edition in my spare time.

I did something that made the cop can see me from behind and this makes the cop more realistic.


- The speed limit of the roads had been found thx to aaro4130.

- The cop can chase the player if he hit anything like cops, opponents, traffic and other objects.

- The cops can ignore cops and the same thing for any vehicles have sirens by making the EXE has exception for the vehicles that in the vehtypes file.

Nice job. ;) It's good to know someone managed to fix the issue that bothered me when I was playing the game as a very small kid many years ago – "why do all those cops keep attacking me when I'm driving very slowly and even driving a police car at the time?".

Now those changes make the AI cop cars behave exactly like they do in MM1, this feature was really needed for a such called mod. :wink: Great work! :D

I changed the damages appearance to look more like MM1 damages.

That explosion sound is one of my favorite things ever, lol

Excellent mod, TMW! You've managed to make MM2 feel just like MM1 with its own flair to it. I love that the cops are now able to detect you from behind, too. That's going to make single-player racing a lot more challenging!

But this should be taken into account, driving a cop and doing vandalism at the same time shouldn't stop other cops from pursuing you.
