Modifying MM2 opponents

Postby NotoriousA » Sat Dec 22, 2012 9:41 am

So I was reading the tutorial from MM2 Central about modifying MM2 AI Opponents, but I couldn't do the final step about locating the !race_mod.ar file in front of mm2core.ar because I have a Windows 7 now which no longer has the ability to rearrange in Windows Explorer.

Solution please? :P

Your Win 7 explorer don't have the ability to arrange the icons? Did you tried Ordinate by -> Name?

Hmm, it's already sorted by name by default for me.

Maybe try searching manually each and every file?

Seems that you've got the step in a wrong way. Probably the tutorial just says to make a zipped archive of the mod folders, name it !race_mod.ar (it's an example name, ain't you're forced to use it) in way to result above the mm2core.ar file in name sorting and move it in the main game folder. The "!" symbol is necessary to put the file about the game default ones in name sorting, this is important to ensure the mod working in-game.
