Sound mod problem

Postby Wouter1998 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 7:31 pm

Im trying to make a sound mod with comical sounds and such, but it seems the sounds of the metro in london wont work, and the police sirens also dont. I have no idea why, because they have the same names as the standard files, and ive archived them all in a way it should work (copy existing ar file, empty, put in files of mod) but i still have problems.

Can anyone help me?

Mods related topics go here, so, this has been moved here.
Besides the use of the correct sounds files names, have you checked if you're using the correct folders directories too? You can see them through DeAR 2 program opening the mm2aud.ar file. If you're made the .wav files in the correct way (mono audio, frequency 22050 KHz, PCM modulation), fixing the folders issue you shouldn't have other problems. Of course, put at least three "!" symbols ahead the name of the created .ar file, to be sure of its working in-game.
