BTW do the car pictures to build the mesh on and to map textures on have to be different pics or can they be 1 big pic?

If the various sides photos of the car are from the same source, like the image that you've posted above, it's always better, because their quality is the same.

About the mapping part, which is pretty easy and with few steps, and the MM2 porting, download and read this tutorial. There are also video tutorials on the bottom part of this page.

Be sure to edit the textures the best you can. That source you chose was good, but you'd need to adjust the contrast of that car's textures for it to look properly. :wink:
