So I've been trying to install the original MM1 from the setup.exe, as running autorun gives me a "Windows 2000 requires admin privileges" message.

Running from the setup works and it says it installed the game after I accept the license, but the game doesn't really install to any directory, and I don't even see it install. I just click finish.

Is this a known issue for Windows 10?

Did you try right clicking and running as admin?

I just don't think MM1 works on Windows 10, and there hasn't been a patch to fix it.
