Try deleting your players folder, and go into options and make sure your graphics are set to hardware rendering.

Probably this is the usual game problem given by the deleting of the deleting of the last played add-on vehicle using one of its last colors, like the 10th for example. The game crashes on the vehicle selection menu are given or because of this, or because of too much add-on cars added (this last thing can also give a game crashing while its first loading when they're more). The MM2 Revisited V4 mod isn't absolutely involved in this problem.
To solve it delete the player folder placed in the main game folder, or better thing, place back the last played and deleted car. But, the best (all done in the game) and quickest solution to do now is play a Crash Course mode race, so when returning in the main menu and going in the vehicle selecting menu will result already selected one of the game default cars selected (right the one played in that Crash Course mode race) not having anymore the game crashing.
The crashing is given because the game attempts to select the same color number of the new last list vehicle, but if the last vehicle hasn't it (it has less colors then teh last played and deleted vehicle), the game crashes. Everytime that you quit from the game and run it or return in the main menu, when going in the vehicle selecting menu results always already selected the last played vehicle and color.

Yeah, it isn't revisited. As franch and dageek said, it is because you had a car before, and deleted it. You will need to redo your profile, or place the car back into the game, use a different car, and then remove it again.

Franch: The crashcourse thing doesnt work. Because I guess that everyone has finished it by now.. after you finish the CC, you can select any car you want for those races. The same problem will happen as in cruise.

Yeah Dummiesboy, that's true, I haven't reminded about that. I read that other way said by a member and realized that it works, but indeed it can't work in that specific case. So, it works only if the player haven't completed the game winning all the game races. In this case, neither the players folder deleting can work, because you'll lost your game profile with the completed game. The only thing to do is place back the last played and deleted car or place as last of the list (renaming the .ar file adding a "z", to be sure) a car add-on with at least 10 colors, so it'll will result selected with the same color number like has been for the last played and deleted add-on car.

i tried again but it's still NO!
i did this:
1. re-downloaded save-game 100%
2. re-installed revisited v4
when it crashed, then:
1. uninstall mm2
2. reinstalled from setup
3. installed revisited
then a NO!!!!!!

Does it crash without revisited too?

If so, then your computer is too old/weak to handle the mod. Not sure why it crashes at the vehicle select screen though...

EDIT: Here are two more things you can try.
1: Make sure you are set to hardware rendering, not software.
2: This actually worked for someone else... In your MM2 shortcut, at the end of the target box, put a space, and then -nomovie, click ok, then try running the game again.

@dummiesboy
it does NOT crash without revisited
and my 3d card is a virtual one (3d analyze) so how can i add " -nomovie" to it?

There is also a No Movie shortcut in the MM2 folder. Try running MM2 with that, and if it works, copy it to wherever your normal shortcut is and replace it with the No Movie one.

Most likely not, you have fair enough specs. It even worked on my old laptop made in 2003. Maybe the virtual graphics card is the issue. Anyway, it's good that it works on your laptop.

No need to swear, I will answer you.
The moon rover is leftover in all versions of MM2, only in need of an info file to work. And the Silver Eagle and 59 Caddie were in the french version of the game only. With some added files, they work fine too. My version of the 3 cars have various fixes, especially tuning and model ones. With the exception of the Silver Eagle, they were pretty bad by default.
The tracks only have cinfo files, and in some cases, hudmaps. They are in they game files ready to go.

Lol, try with traffic turned off. It has been known to crash some people when they have traffic on. Not sure why though...
