Game: Midtown Madness 2

After watching a video on youtube i was intrigued by this game and after seeing that there is still a thriving forum that is posted on daily then i thought i might give the game a go if just for the community.

What are your thoughts on this game and is there anything i should look out for when buying a copy?

Welcome here! :D It's very nice that you got interested by Midtown Madness 2 after have watched a video. :)
Buy an original copy now would be hard, I guess, it's always a game with now almost 17 years. Hopefully, there should be available some used copies on eBay... You can always find by yourself a safe and good way to download a ripped copy of the installed game, at least.
In any case, I absolutely suggest you to play it and try the thousands of stuff made for it by the community.

I was kinda expecting some newcomers after his review. But I would totally recommend the game. It has kept me occupied for many, many years. It may not be as graphically advanced as newer racing games but there is far more fun gameplay to be had in Midtown Madness 2 in my opinion.

Wait, which rich Donald were you thinking of?

I find midtown madness1/2 hard to leave. It's a jolly little game with fun physics, annoyingly fun ai & the storyline(I know lots of games have that). In my opinion the midtown madness1/2/3 are underdogs, all Microsoft need to do is pick up on it and make a game to compete with rockstars GTA V. I want Microsoft to make an uptodate open world game and all there doing is focusing on hardcore racing games. Back to the game, it has lots of addons (cars/tracks/mods/programs) so there you have it hours of fun. :D

Try Forza Horizon 3. It's magnificent.

On topic, a copy of MM2 is always available at https://nsood.in/Midtown2.exe - hosted by me and with the Speedboot EXE. No mods.
