MM2C closed?

So today I entered MM2C to see the news (not much latelly

), and it was down, in the place is a register.com site (like when a server was taken out). Whats happening? Is ot taking down as MM2BR?

I noticed that too. Not suprising, that site has been pretty much dead for a long time. 12 years is a long time for one game.

This thing that happened is pretty surreal for a storic MM2 related website that has been online for years, more than this. Some days ago it had its usual error with connecting to the database. However, sooner or later was in the air that MM2C had to definitely close, for years only the forum was active, and very little in the latest 2-3 years.
Probably the contract with the website hoster expired on 31st of October and Rippance hasn't renewed it or because has forgot about it (there wasn't presence of him online there for months), or maybe because he decided to don't renew it anymore (I remember that was later 2010 year when he said that renewed it for 2 more years).

I think web.archive.org would help there, but MM2C should be rehosted on MM2X.

Good that's so, but still seems to be problems, now the MySQL database isn't online and the forum gives the hoster page. I thought that couldn't really be the end without a notice posted there few days before the closing by Rippance.

Really it hasn't so good tutorials because most of them have dead links and have been outmoded by better solutions came in these years (like the Stereo's dashboard creating tutorial, replaced by making it with MM2 Dashboard Placer program). The Silent1Unknown's cars making tutorial is available for download in his website, as well as the second version of it with videos. Instead, what's good in that forum are the researches in the game files and other programming related stuff.

Nahhhhh.... they're just still developing it. I mean clearly such an amazing game needs no less than 10 years of development time.

Edit: MM2C works all fine, no more database problems for now.
